Wizkid and Davido Shine at 2025 NAACP Image Awards

Nigerian music giants Davido and Wizkid have expanded their already illustrious award collections with new wins at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards.

Wizkid, who has won this award five times, secured his sixth after his collaboration with Brent Faiyaz, Piece of My Heart, clinched the award for Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (Contemporary). This latest win extends his record as the most awarded Nigerian artist in the history of the prestigious ceremony.

Davido on the other hand, claimed his third NAACP Image Award as Hmmm, his collaboration with Chris Brown, won Outstanding International Song.

Davido and Chris Brown are known to be a formidable duo, as this marks their second win together after their hit single Sensational won Best Contemporary Duo in 2024.
