Spotify and Dencity Amplify Nigeria’s Skateboarding Scene with ‘Skate Noise’

Skate Noise is a specially curated playlist and program by Spotify, taken over by Asake and designed to shine a light on Nigeria’s skateboarding scene. This initiative is the result of a collaboration with Dencity, a community-focused organization dedicated to increasing visibility, connection, and empowerment among female skateboarders in Nigeria. Dencity aims to support and uplift women within this exciting sport, creating a more inclusive environment.
At WAF Park, skaters and music fans united for an epic day packed with energy. Local skate crews teamed up with Spotify to create a killer experience filled with DJ sets and live performances.
