Speedy Morman Departs Complex After 10+ Years

One of digital media’s most recognizable faces is moving on. Speedy Morman announced on Monday that he is leaving Complex after more than a decade with the company, and stepping away from his hit interview series 360 with Speedy as he moves toward independence and new business opportunities.

In a statement he shared, Morman called it the end of “an incredible era,” writing: “After 10+ years, I’ve decided to step away from Complex and my show ‘360 with Speedy’ to go independent and enter into some new partnerships.”

During his time at Complex, Morman became one of the platform’s most recognizable faces — known for his fast wit, sharp interview style, and ability to connect with artists, athletes, and cultural figures across generations. His show 360 with Speedy became a staple of the Complex brand, landing marquee guests and generating consistent viral moments year after year.

As the media landscape continues to evolve at pace, autonomy has become more of a necessity. Platforms like YouTube, podcasting, and newsletters have lowered the barriers for journalists to build audiences on their own terms, and Speedy Morman appears well-positioned to capitalize on all of them.
