Smade Entertainment Brings Another Night to Remember to Lafayette London with Chike

On the 25th of June 2022, Smade Entertainment reminded us why they are an industry leader in promoting and producing Afrobeats Live events. For the last decade, they have been industry leaders putting top afrobeats arts on the map, promoting and producing UK and Europe tours for some of the Genre’s biggest names. It is known that they introduced global superstars like Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, and Burna Boy into Europe and the United Kingdom and have been a cultural leader in Music. This summer, they have done it again by putting together a debut appearance for Chike live at the Lafayette London artist debut show in the United Kingdom with a sold-out experience.

The Performance was an amazing experience, with amazing craftmanship, an incredible setlist, and a very engaging set that was filled with laughs, love, and a general mix of emotions. The setlist arrangement tells a lot about the artist and Smade Entertainment’s attention to detail.

We can’t really celebrate the victory without highlighting the work put in by the foot soldiers. They are the band members, the set designers, the sound engineer, the stage managers, and the reference producer.

The Band was led by Music director Chi Strings. His fantastic band, which included Ayo Kay on the keyboard, drummer Dami Alabi, Micheal Adeshina on the African drums, Temi Sax on the horns, the bass and lead guitar, Timi and Iso Bass, and a major Highlight of the night was the reference production Fast raising producer by Prosper

D’Mizu Amaizu which gave the audience a feel of studio style production. At the same time, live on stage, the reference production made room for all additional output that would have been impossible to pull off live on stage, and instead of using the actual studio version of the song, the producer went on to pull off a perfect production of the reference music allowing for an immersive listening experience.

In an industry plagued by lateness and bad sound, Smade, alongside his trusted team, has created a perfect love experience within the Afro Beats and African music scene.

The performance was electrifying, ending with a big pose of Chike and the audience, the show was one to watch and I can’t wait to see this level of excellence on bigger stages.
