Seyi Vibez makes a resounding artistry statement with ‘Nahamciaga’

That’s the enigma of Seyi Vibez’ music, described by a recent convert as “Strange sounds with good vibrations.” Truly, it is this eccentricity that has distinguished Seyi Vibez, setting him apart in a niche of his own. 2019 to 2022
In 2019, Seyi Vibez embarked on his musical journey with “Anybody,” and by 2021, he skyrocketed to fame with “Godsent.” The release of his debut album, “No Seyi No Vibez (NSNV),” marked a milestone, followed by the 2022 project, “Billion Dollar Baby 2.0,” an album that heralded Seyi to so many as a new and unstoppable maker of good vibes.
2023
In January 2023, Seyi Vibez hit the ground running with the release of the “Memory Card” EP. He soon followed this project with an album, “Vibe Till Thy Kingdom Come,” released on the 8th June. In an unprecedented move, on the 24th of the same month, he gifted fans with another album, “Thy Kingdom Come,” and by doing this, showcased a level of consistency that’s truly unparalleled.
Having already released an EP and 2 albums within the same year, it is safe to say that Seyi Vibez’ new project, released on Friday the 8th of December, would have come as a surprise to many. This project came in the form of an EP which he named “NAHAMciaga,” a solid musical 5-track playlist that explores a variety of sounds, including old-school Afrobeats and his cherished Fuji genre. The project is so good, you’ll find yourself nodding involuntarily as soon as you start to listen. Even more amazing is the fact that, with the release of this project, he has set a record, becoming the first and only artist to have released 4 musical projects that topped the Nigerian Apple music playlist within the same year. What a feat! It’s as though he has a reservoir filled to the brim with hit songs, for how else do we explain the pace he has set and the standard of quality music he has maintained so effortlessly? Of one thing I am certain, you don’t want to sleep on this new EP. NAHAMciaga is definitely a gem, and its impact is already undeniable.
