The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2026. Sade, the Nigerian-born British singer whose elegant, understated style defined a generation of sophisticated soul, will be inducted as a performer, while Fela Kuti, the revolutionary musician, pioneer of Afrobeat, activist, and outspoken critic of power, will receive a posthumous Early Influence Award, cementing two very different but equally powerful legacies on the same stage.

The induction ceremony is set for November in Los Angeles.
The announcement, made yesterday, also includes heavyweights like Oasis, Phil Collins, Wu-Tang Clan, Iron Maiden, Luther Vandross, and others.
