Olivia Dean swept the BRIT Awards 2026, taking home four awards, including Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (with Sam Fender for “Rein Me In”), and Best Pop Act. The ceremony, held for the first time outside London in its 46-year history, marked a historic night at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
The 28-year-old British soul singer’s dominance mirrored recent sweeps by RAYE (2024) and Charli XCX (2025), cementing her as one of the UK’s most celebrated artists. Her debut album, The Art of Loving, won the most awards of the night.
The ceremony also saw historic international wins. Spanish singer Rosalía became the first Spanish-language artist to win International Artist of the Year. At the same time, ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ collaboration “APT.” marked the first K-pop song to win a BRIT Award.
PinkPantheress made history as the youngest and first female Producer of the Year winner, while Oasis legend Noel Gallagher won Songwriter of the Year. Mark Ronson received the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award, and Ozzy Osbourne was posthumously honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award following his death in July 2025.
Other major winners included Wolf Alice (Group of the Year), Sam Fender (Alternative/Rock Act), Dave (Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act), and Lola Young (Breakthrough Artist).
Harry Styles delivered his first public performance in three years, while Björk made her first BRIT appearance in a decade, performing with Rosalía.
The event, hosted by Jack Whitehall for the sixth time, featured fan voting via WhatsApp in a partnership with Meta. The trophies, designed by Matthew Williamson, were inspired by Manchester’s iconic worker bee symbol.
