Druski Brings ‘Coulda Been’ Auditions to Lagos
American comedian and internet sensation Druski is taking his comedy tour to Lagos, Nigeria, for a special edition of his strictly satirical “Coulda Been Records” audition. This time, he is teaming up with Nigerian music superstar Davido to give fans in Lagos an unforgettable experience.
Druski, and his wildly popular “Coulda Been Records” Instagram Live auditions, has built a massive following due to its intense humor and satire. The premise of “Coulda Been Records” revolves around Druski playing the role of a mock talent scout for a fictional record label, hilariously critiquing (and often roasting) aspiring musicians, rappers, and entertainers who “audition” for him. His witty and exaggerated commentary has earned him a cult following and numerous collaborations with some of the biggest names in entertainment.
Now, Druski is bringing the show to Lagos, where the energy and talent in the entertainment scene are bound to provide even more comedy gold. For this special Lagos edition, Druski has enlisted the help of none other than Davido, one of Africa’s most influential and internationally recognized artists. Together, they will host a live version of the “Coulda Been Records” auditions, inviting Nigerian talents to showcase their skills while bracing themselves for Druski’s iconic brand of playful ridicule.
The “Coulda Been Records” Lagos edition is expected to feature some of the country’s boldest and most eccentric personalities, as aspiring musicians, entertainers and skit makers step up to impress—or at least amuse—Druski and Davido. In typical “Coulda Been” fashion, the auditions will likely see a mix of genuine talent, laugh-out-loud moments, and a few wild surprises along the way.
