Arcydan unveils Lately, a four-track EP rooted in intimacy and emotional clarity. At its core, the project examines connection, vulnerability, and the quiet weight of what remains unsaid.

The EP opens with “Hold Me,” a slow-burning introduction built on vulnerability and closeness, setting the emotional tone of the project. “Timeless” expands that mood, exploring connection as something that stretches beyond fixed moments. “Inside,” featuring regular collaborator Deesick, is an upbeat R&B cut reminiscent of their 2024 sultry jam “Everytime”. Carrying the same warmth and melodic ease, the track leans into groove and chemistry, offering a lighter, more playful contrast within Lately while maintaining the project’s emotional throughline. The EP closes with “Ditto,” a restrained reflection on memory, and the simple pleasures of love.
Sitting between alternative R&B, pop, and soul, Lately favours atmosphere and intention over rigid genre boundaries. Arcydan’s minimal, deliberate approach leaves room for listeners to project their own experiences onto the music.
The release is supported by the music video for “Hold Me,” a noir-inspired visual that introduces the emotional world of the EP. Striking and visually restrained, the video offers a compelling opening balance to the project’s intimate tone.
Lately is now available on all major streaming platforms.
