Skepta x Nike Air Max 97 “Sk”: This iconic collaboration debuted in 2017 with the release of the Skepta x Nike Air Max 97 “Sk.” Drawing inspiration from Morocco and the 1999 Air Tuned Max, the sneaker featured a mix of colors and patterns reminiscent of Marrakech’s spice markets. The distinct Swoosh, coupled with Moroccan-inspired detailing, made this iteration an instant hit among sneaker lovers worldwide.

2. Skepta x Nike Air Max 97/BW: Building on the success of their initial collaboration, Skepta and Nike joined forces once again in 2018 to release the Skepta x Nike Air Max 97/BW SK. Skepta chose to work with the Air Max BW due to its association with Dizzee Rascal, a founder of the grime music movement, who wore a pair on the cover of his first album, ‘Boy in da Corner.’ This hybrid silhouette combined the upper of the Air Max BW with the iconic Air Max 97 sole unit. The sneaker featured a bold color scheme, with Skepta’s ‘SkAir’ branding adorning the heel tab. 3. Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe “Never Sleep on Tour”: The Skepta Air Max Deluxe “Never Sleep On Tour” is a special edition sneaker that was released as part of Skepta’s collaboration with Nike. The sneaker draws inspiration from Skepta’s award-winning DIY video for his single, “That’s Not Me,” The Air Max Deluxe silhouette features a unique design with a VHS-static print and the lateral side of the pair features the track’s release date, “June 8, 2014 with”Never Sleep On Tour” printed on the medial side. This reminds wearers of Skepta’s relentless work ethic and dedication to his craft.

4. Skepta x Nike Shox TL “Sk Shox”: In 2019, Skepta introduced a new chapter in his collaboration with Nike by reimagining the Nike Shox TL. The Skepta x Nike Shox TL “Sk Shox” featured a monochromatic black upper with iridescent detailing, paying homage to Skepta’s grime roots and incorporating elements such as the isiagu print on the insole, traditionally worn by chiefs in Nigeria. The shoe serves as a bridge between Nigeria and the global sneaker culture, encouraging pride in one’s heritage. ‘Your true power lies in your culture. Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V “Chrome Blue”: Closing out the year 2020 on a high note, Skepta and Nike introduced another iteration of the Air Max Tailwind V, this time in a “Chrome Blue” colorway. The sneaker featured a vibrant blue upper with metallic silver accents, paying homage to Skepta’s nike shox. The bold color scheme and futuristic design elements made this release a standout in the Skepta x Nike collaboration series.

6. Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V “Bloody Chrome”: Continuing their partnership in 2020, Skepta and Nike unveiled the Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V  “Bloody Chrome.” Inspired by the concept of creative rebirth – the metamorphosis of a butterfly. The sneaker boasted a striking red and silver colorway, reminiscent of chrome-plated car parts and a sublimated print depicting butterfly wings. The collaborative effort highlighted Skepta’s ability to blend personal narratives with bold design elements, resulting in a visually striking sneaker.
