Moelogo releases 6 track EP “Point Of VIew”

In describing Moelogo’s music, several words spring to mind at once: “Soothing,” “Euphonic,” “Mood-lifting”... In truth, these words merely try to do justice to the splendor that is Moelogo’s sound. There are very few, if any, who possess the skills to craft music as special as his—music that reaches deep down into the very depths of one’s soul and pulls out emotions of every kind, leaving one near tears at the sheer rawness and beauty of it all.

Moelogo stepped onto the music scene in 2013 after years spent immersed in mastering the art, first in the choir and then at London’s Starlight Music Academy. His debut song, “Pangolo,” was an immediate hit, flooding dance floors everywhere. He soon followed this track with his debut EP, “Moe is my name, Music is my Logo.” The EP was a roaring success as well, making it clear to all who might have been paying attention—Moelogo meant business.

His evolution continued in 2016 with the release of another EP, “Ireti,” earning him a coveted nomination for Best African Artist at the MOBO awards that year. In 2019, he released his third project, “Magic,” and the next year, 2020, he released “Me” and “Myself,” two projects in the same year.

Moelogo also has a host of amazing singles and beautiful musical collaborations featuring musical luminaries such as Adekunle Gold, Davido, Sarkodie, Jonas Blue, M.anifest, Sarkodie, and Show Dem Camp, amongst many others. He has been nominated severally for various musical awards, one of which is the Headies award for the best alternative song, which he bagged in 2020. Asides his many musical achievements as a singing artiste, Moelogo is also an established song writer who has written so many successful hit songs for some of the most successful individuals in the music industry today. His written works feature on Tiwa Savage’s “Celia” album and he has written for Adekunle Gold, Kelly Rowland and Mr Eazi, amongst others

On Friday, December 1st, 2023, Moelogo released his first project since 2020: “Point Of View,” and you have got to believe me when I say the project is absolutely beautiful. The wavy progression of the beats, the way the sweet melodies hit your ears, the tranquil feeling that immediately settles on you as soon as you start listening, and the excitement that bubbles under your skin because you are absolutely loving what you hear… There’s just no explaining it. The six-track EP features amazing artists Joeboy and Aylø and explores Afrobeats in gentle slow motion as well as an up-tempo vibe. I highly recommend a listen, though I’ve got to warn you, you’ll probably get hooked as quickly as I did listening to the EP over and over again. Still, you really should check it out.
