Olaolu Slawn Unites Art and Music in Debut Album

After a month-long live exhibition at Saatchi Yates Gallery running from 22nd January to 22nd February, Nigerian artist Olaolu Slawn has expanded his creative output into the music world with the release of his debut album, Not An Artist. Slawn, who has always managed to capture attention as one of the most talked-about young voices in London’s contemporary art scene, mounted the exhibition in collaboration with Saatchi Yates. The month-long event merged visual art, performance, and live engagement with fans.

The album, executive produced by Arthur Bean, features a major creative convergence. An exceptional lineup of artists, including Unknown T, Blackhaine, Obongjayar, AntsLive, Jammer, Cochise, Travy, Len, Taves, Youngs Teflon, Tiny Boost, Reign, Kida Kudz, Yuno Miles, deeD0t, Kidwild, and JELEEL!, came together at Saatchi Yates in what has become a rare cultural moment in the London creative scene.
