The Ultimate Creative Alliance: Pharrell and Nigo for Louis Vuitton Fall 2025
Pharrell Williams reuniting with his longtime collaborator Nigo for the fall menswear collection for Louis Vuitton in 2025 at Paris Fashion Week may not have been on the agenda when the two first met in 2003.
Pharrell and Nigo, long-time collaborators and cultural innovators, have been at the forefront of blurring the lines between streetwear and luxury. Their shared history—from launching the iconic Billionaire Boys Club to influencing global fashion trends—set the stage for their debut collection for the top of the ladder fashion brand.
The show, which began on the evening of Tuesday, January 21, opened with corporate and formal looks, featuring suit jackets, pants, and coats. The collection ranged from denim to fur jackets, offering a diverse mix of materials. It also wouldn’t have been a Pharrell show without streetwear elements, and the collection included the Cortez skate shoes Pharrell previewed on social media days before the event. Prints of Pharrell and Nigo’s faces adorned various pieces, from jackets to beanies, adding a somewhat personal touch to the collection.
Interestingly, Nigo, who also serves as the creative director of Kenzo, has a show coming up in the following days at Paris Fashion Week. This overlap raises an intriguing question: could Nigo collaborate with Louis Vuitton for a personal collection in the future?
